WILL THIS WORK???!!!

Hi I have grown mushrooms before but I have a question. Ok I bought a kit and the mycelium has spread and there are about ten-fifteen small mushrooms in various areas of the tub. Today I bought a similar tub but larger and filled it with composted cow manure and sphagnum moss along with some water and cut a section of the one kit out and mixed it around in the new tub. Will this work? I also picked one of the mushrooms that were growing and stuck it in the new compost. Will this work. I set the tub up identically to the one I purchased. Please respond.
