This is due to their genetic makeup. Autoflowering plants are crossbred with the genes of Cannabis ruderalis, which by nature is the only member of the cannabis family that flowers automatically regardless of light hours. Crossbreeding the ruderalis plant with cannabis strains results in plants with the following advantages:

Growing Characteristics
King’s Kush Auto CBD maxes out at around 90 cm. She prefers between 12 to 18 hours of light a day. Outdoors temperatures must stay above 10° C for the cannabis plant to flower. King’s Kush Auto CBD has a short flowering time of 7-8 weeks yielding dense, dark green buds.
