Laughing Buddha Feminized (Barney's Farm)

Laughing Buddha is a potent, predominantly sativa, strain created by crossing a landrace Thai Sativa with a Jamaican hybrid. The award-winning feminised strain (2003 High Times Cannabis Cup) maxes out at around 1 meter yielding wonderfully fragrant bud denoting the strain’s rich heritage.

Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:

1. Plants are usually taller/more robust
2. Higher yield
3. Higher potency than autoflowering plants
4. Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants

Fragrance & Flavour
Laughing Buddha has a striking fragrance, earthy sweetness with spicy notes dominating, and undertones of citrus. Spicy and herbal notes come together intermixed with the flavour of tropical fruits like pineapple. On the exhale the taste of lemon and roasted spices stays behind on the tongue.

Laughing Buddha is strongly energising. Clearheaded and uplifting, this strain will leave you feeling giggly and sociable.

Growing Characteristics
Laughing Buddha has a long flowering period, but the bountiful harvest is worth the wait. The strain’s large, compact buds and leaves are coated with a frosty layer of sticky, white trichomes. Laughing Buddha will need some support in the final three weeks of flowering.
