Red Dragon Feminized (Barney's Farm)

Red Dragon Feminised is one of Barney’s most exotic strains, created by crossbreeding a landrace Afghani Kush with a true Brazilian Sativa. The sativa dominant feminised cannabis plant is a straight up feel good strain, simultaneously upbeat and relaxing. Red Dragon’s red and green colas taste tropical, like sweet guava.

Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:

1. Plants are usually taller/more robust
2. Higher yield
3. Higher potency than autoflowering plants
4. Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants

Fragrance & Flavour
Red Dragon exudes the pleasant, sweet aroma of guava fruit with woody undertones. This strain tastes just like she smells.

Effects
Though slightly sativa dominant, Red Dragon’s initial energising effect levels out giving way to a relaxing body buzz that lasts for hours. The energy boost and waves of euphoria that wash over you have an elevating effect on the mind, followed closely by a comforting heavy bodied sensation.

Growing Characteristics
Red Dragon Feminised displays red and green buds by the time she's ready for harvest. The medium-short feminised cannabis plant has a fast 8 week flowering period and can produce up to 600 grams per square metre if grown properly. Outdoors Red Dragon prefers hot temperate climates.
