Looking for a true OG Kush? Humboldt’s OG Kush Fem offers elite genetics with love from California. A mix of Lemon Thai/Pakistani Kush and Chemdawg, OG Kush is one of the most in-demand cannabis strains in the world. This incredible hybrid has an unmistakable flavour and potent soothing effects.

What’s in a name? No one’s quite sure what OG stands for. Cannabis lore has it that OG stands for Ocean Grown, but OG could stand for Original Gangster or simply Original. In any case with OG you’re getting exotic, stable old world genetics; a cannaseur’s dream!

Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:

  1. Plants are usually taller/more robust
  2. Higher yield
  3. Higher potency than autoflowering plants
  4. Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants

Fragrance & Flavour
OG Kush has a pungent, thick scent. A blend of lemony, woody and gasoline fuel notes. Her sweet flavour includes tropical fruit notes along with hints of cedar wood, fuel, citrus and exotic spices.

Effects
OG Kush is a heavy hitter; long-lasting relaxing effects soothe body and mind. The happy high puts you in a state of tranquil bliss. In higher doses intense couch-lock sets in gluing you to the couch for hours on end. OG Kush can help you unwind after a long and stressful day.

Growing Characteristics
OG Kush Fem plants tend to remain small, growing bushy as her sticky, compact buds fill in. Outdoors she thrives in warm, sunny temperate and Mediterranean climates. She’s easy to grow but quite sensitive to moisture, keep this in mind when growing her in rainy regions.
