Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:

3. Higher potency than autoflowering plants
4. Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants

Growing Characteristics
Skunk #1 is a very forgiving feminised cannabis strain; she’ll bounce right back from any mistakes you make. She’s a reliable and vigorous grower, a good match for beginner growers. Outdoors, Skunk #1 performs best in temperate/continental climates with normal, warm summers.

As she grows, her Indica genes will be the most prominent, though she gains more height in the flowering stage than pure Indicas do. Skunk #1 flowers quickly, displaying short internodal gaps that close up as flowering kicks into high gear. Her bud clusters are huge and heavy, merging into enormous, frosty colas when it’s almost harvest time.

Skunk #1’s stems and branches are sturdy enough to hold up her sizeable yields. She has a natural resistance to moulds and mildew in the early growing stages, but hobby growers should keep in mind that she becomes a little more sensitive in the flowering cycle.
