Description
Originating in northwestern Argentina, Trichocereus schickendantzii is a soft-fleshed, round to barrel-shaped cactus. Trichocereus schickendantzii can grow to 75 cm in height with a stem approximately 7 cm in diameter forming branches at the base. The cactus is light to dark green with yellowish spines. In spring and early summer, Trichocereus schikendantzii blooms clusters of spectacular white flowers at the apex of the stem.
