Calibration weights ensure your precision scale delivers accurate measurements and consistent weighing performance. Choose from De Sjamaan’s selection of professional quality calibration weights ranging from 50 grams to 200 grams, ideal for mini scales or digital scales. Keep in mind that you must have a calibration weight suitable for your scale. Check the scale’s specifications. Use one (1) certified weight or a combination of weights to calibrate.

How often should I calibrate?
Scales are factory calibrated, meaning the manufacturer calibrates them. But, calibration takes place at a different elevation/in a different environment than where you will be weighing, and a scale will lose calibration while in transit, its sensors are very sensitive. We recommend always calibrating your personal scale before first use. How often you need to calibrate your scale after that is dependent on a variety of factors, such as how often you use the scale, the environment in which you will be weighing and how essential an exact weight is to your personal needs. If you use your scale frequently, you should calibrate frequently.
