Psilocybe cubensis Palenque has been found in Mexico, near the village of Palenque. Palenque forms the old center of the Maya civilisation. Maya Indians used this Mushrooms during rituals which where of great importance for their civilisation. Proof has been found of mushroom worshipping dating 300 BC. There have also been rockcarvings found dating 1000 BC.
