Shipping options
Shipments are packaged discretely and sent out swiftly, with the utmost care. You will be notified by email when your order has been shipped.
We offer the following shipping methods depending upon location. Mostly 1-6 days.
- PostNL EPS
European shipments. All parcels are insured, with the exception of fresh products.
Within Netherlands: shipping costs are €6.95. Delivery time is normally 1 working day. or orders above €30 shipping within The Netherlands is FREE.
Within EU: shipping costs start at €6.99. Delivery time depends upon location. Mostly 2-9 days. - UPS express
Fast international shipments. Shipping costs start at €25. Price and delivery time depends upon location. Mostly 1 day. This method is optimal for fresh products. - UPS Standard
International Shipments. Shipping costs start at €10.75. Price and delivery time depends upon location. Mostly 1-6 days. This method is much better than EPS when ordering fresh products.
After payment is received, we will ship either the same (working) day or the next. (provided that all products are in stock) Please see the Payment page for more information about Payment.
Shipping of fresh products
For optimal quality of fresh products like truffles, growkits, mycelium, seeds, cacti, etc. we advise express shipping. Like UPS Express. This is especially important in hot season.
Fresh goods are shipped to international destinations on Monday if shipped with PostNL. Monday to Wednesday if shipped by UPS.
Within the Netherlands all shipment methods generally deliver the next day, so express shipping is not necessary.
A few packs of truffles will fit in an envelope and can be delivered even if you are not at home. But anything bigger will need to be delivered when you are present.
If you know that you will not be at home at the date of arrival or if you plan a holiday soon after or if you will not be able to collect your parcel from a pickup point, then please do not order fresh products. If you are unable to receive fresh products and those go bad as a result, then we will not replace it.
Shipping of heavy or large products
Shipping costs are high for large or heavy products, therefore these cannot be shipped for free. For shipping of heavy products like soil, additional shipping fees may apply.
Shipping Restrictions
We will not send products to locations where these are restricted. For this reason we have shipping restrictions listed on product pages. Click on the 'Shipping restrictions' tab to view this. Such products are automatically removed from your order. If you believe that a product is not restricted in your country then please let us know. For more information see our order conditions page.
If your country is not listed in the shipping restrictions, then you can order the product. You still have the responsibility to make sure that you comply with all laws, including your local laws. If your order is stopped by customs, then we cannot replace it.
Discrete shipping
Our parcels are shipped in discrete packaging.We use standard brown packages without any print. Nothing on the parcel indicates what is inside. The shipping label only lists your address and our return address. De Sjamaan is also not on listed as the sender. We completely understand and respect your privacy. You can order worry free and with confidence.
Shipping delays & updates
Shipping delays by shipping services are out of our control. Please keep an eye on the tracking updates. Make sure these do not go to your e-mail spam folder.
Please do install the app of the shipping provider. PostNL (Netherlands) or UPS so that you can get instant shipping updates on your phone. These apps will also give you more control over the delivery of your shipment.
If for some reason your order does not arrive, we will start an investigation at the postal service. If your parcel is lost then we will resend your order.
