African Dream Seed (Entada Rheedii)

Description
Entada rheedii, or African Dream Seed, belongs to a group of oneirogens called dream herbs. For thousands of years, the indigenous peoples of Africa and Central America have used dream herbs to enhance dreams and explore the subconscious. This “trip” can lead to valuable insights into fears, hopes, desires, and the future. Some dream herbs can help clarify dreams while others prolong dreams. The large, flat, brown coloured seeds of the Entada rheedii, a vine, are carried away by rivers and oceans and wash up on shores where they eventually take root. Dry the white flesh inside the seed and add it to a joint, use before bedtime to induce vivid dreams. The seeds are sometimes carried around or worn on necklaces as good-luck charms or talismans.
