White Label’s breeding program presents Double Banana Kush, created by backcrossing the most standout f1 Banana Kush phenotype with OG Kush, then breeding their offspring with the offspring of a juicy, fruity f2 Banana Kush bred with Sensi Seeds’ citrusy California Indica. This new stable strain dubbed Double Banana Kush features all the top Banana Kush traits amplified.

Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:

  1. Plants are usually taller/more robust
  2. Higher yield
  3. Higher potency than autoflowering plants
  4. Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants

Fragrance & Flavour
Banana Kush’ signature scent now even more mouth-wateringly juicy. You’ll have to wait until the bud is properly dried to smell and taste her complexity. Even juicier banana top notes than the original, along with whiffs of zesty orange, accented by berry, passionfruit and melon notes. An earthy dark chocolate undercurrent rounds out the experience. Compared to Banana Kush, Double Banana Kush is less smelly in the growing and flowering stages.

Effects
Completely relaxed, lounging on the couch, it’s not that you’re glued to it, there’s just no reason to get up really. Ultimate blissed-out relaxation, whether alone or with friends.

Growing Characteristics
Tough, hefty and fast Double Banana Kush Feminised prefers hot sunny climates. Grow her in a bright greenhouse or in the warmest, hottest summer months to bring out her full potential. Grown from seed Double Banana Kush Fem gains around 150% of her vegetative height in the flowering stage. Like Banana Kush Fem, height gain slows down early on in the blooming phase.

Unlike Banana Kush Fem, Double Banana Kush Fem plants, in general, tend to be less branchy. Some phenotypes seem like they’ll produce small calyxes, but just wait, in the final weeks of flowering they bulk up. Buds are cone-shaped and frosty, almost iridescent thanks to the bananas layer of sparkly resin. More often than not, mature trichomes take on a golden colour instead of the usual amber.
