KB-2000 (On Balance)

On Balance KB-2000 is a versatile electronic kitchen scale for everyday use. The tabletop scale includes a dishwasher safe acrylic bowl that acts as a cover for secure storage when the scale is not in use. On Balance KB-2000 is a practical, straightforward scale featuring a simple yet attractive design.

On Balance KB-2000 is not intended for use with illegal substances. Use the scale to accurately measure out doses of your favourite legal herbs like Guarana or other herb extracts available on our site. Create your own herbal blends! We have a variety of gelatin and vegetarian capsules, and capsule machines available for purchase.

Accuracy & Modes
On Balance KB-2000 Scale weighs up to 2000 grams (2kg) with an accuracy of 0. 1 gram. The scale reads 4 modes of measurement: Gram (g), Ounce (oz), Pennyweight (dwt) and Carat (ct). Powered by two (2) “AA” batteries (included).

Calibration
Calibrate the On Balance KB-2000 scale before weighing. You must use one (1) certified 2000 gram (2 kg) weight or a combination of weights in order to calibrate. Do not use household items to calibrate your scale. Items such as shampoo bottles or cans are not suitable for checking your scale's accuracy. The net weight printed on the side is an approximation and does not take into account the weight of the container. Do not use coins to calibrate your scale. Their weight fluctuates due to damage to the coin and/or debris build up over time.

Tips for accurate weighing
This scale is a precision instrument, to ensure accurate weighing the scale must be used under certain conditions. Keep the following in mind when using the scale.

1. Always place your scale on a stable and flat surface.
2. Calibrate your scale frequently for optimum accuracy.
3. Always place items being weighed on the centre of the platform.
4. Use in a vibration-free and wind-free location that is not exposed to direct sunlight.
5. Avoid any exposure to extreme heat or cold; your scale works better when operated at normal room temperature. The scale will not weigh accurately in an environment subject to large temperature and humidity changes. It’ll take your personal scale approximately two hours to adjust to changes.
6. Keep water and chemicals off the scale. Wipe the scale with a damp cloth from time to time.
7. Do not use or store the scale near heat sources such as ovens, heaters, etc.
8. A scale will perform slowly, or read inaccurately when it has low batteries. Check and replace the batteries if necessary.
9. Do not leave objects on the weighing tray when the scale is not in use.
10. To avoid measurement error, do not measure while using equipment that generates radio waves, such as mobile phones.

Warranty
On Balance KB-2000 is backed by a 10-year Limited warranty. This scale is not intended for use with illegal substances. Warranty is void if used in conjunction with illegal substances. Additionally, we will not service any products that are returned with any foreign substance present. Any received in this condition will be destroyed and disposed of immediately and no compensation will be given. Normal wear & tear, as well as user-caused damage to the scale exterior or internal components, are not covered under warranty. Any form of negligent use or misuse of the product, damage in transit, or unauthorised repairs or alterations to the scale will void the scale’s warranty. Accessories such as bowls, trays, finishes, calibration weights, clasps, hinges, feet, AC adapters and batteries are also not covered under warranty.
