Bali Gold Kratom is a red vein kratom strain that has undergone an extended drying phase. As a result, the plant material changes from red to gold simultaneously altering the effects. Mitragyna speciosa
Kratom or Mitragyna speciosa is a tree indigenous to Southeast Asia that belongs to the same botanical family as the Coffee tree. The leaf material or resinous extracts have stimulating and sedative properties. There are a wide variety of Kratom strains, usually identified by the colour of the leaf’s vein. The effect depends on the Kratom strain and the dosage. White Vein is generally considered the most stimulating, Red Vein the most sedating, and Green Vein a slightly stimulating strain. Kratom contains over 25 alkaloids. The most prominent are mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine.
Studies have shown that sunlight and oxidation can convert about half of mitragynine to 7-hydroxymitragynine. Sunlight alone can convert approximately 8% of mitragynine.

Dosage: 1.5 to 2.5 grams. Mix the powder with some puree or low-fat yoghurt. Use the 'Toss&Wash Method' or mix with fruit juice like orange juice. An empty stomach helps to maximise the effect.

Effect: Bali Gold has a calming effect helping aid relaxation and easing the symptoms of stress. The strain also contributes to a healthy appetite. In low doses combined with other red vein kratom strains, Bali Gold produces an opiate-like effect: a fuzzy, numbing physical and mental sensation, combined with euphoric feelings. In higher doses, the adverse effects are much more pronounced than with other kratom strains dependent on your weight, physical make-up, health and sensitivity.
