Made using high-quality Zornia latifolia leaf, De Sjamaan Maconha Brava 50X extract offers a relaxing high ideal for those looking for a marijuana-like effect but prefer teas to smoking. This traditional herb leads you into an altered state of mind, similar to cannabis but with a welcome mellow twist.
What is Maconha Brava?
Maconha Brava, or Zornia latifolia, is a plant from the Fabaceae family, native to South America. It can also be found growing in the wild in Middle and North America and sometimes even Africa. Maconha Brava means false or wild marijuana. In Brazil the dried leaves are smoked as a substitute for cannabis. Despite its long history of use, Zornia latifolia’s active ingredients were unknown for a long time. More recently, scientists have revealed the presence of flavonoids genistein and apigenin, along with the rare flavone syzalterin. Syzalsterin seems to produce inhibitory effects comparable to high-THC hashish on its own or in combination with genistein.
