Mitragyna Hirsuta Crushed is a fine selection of high quality Kra Thum Khok leaf, carefully dried and sealed. The close relative of the Kratom plant shares both the stimulating and sedating properties. While Mitragyna hirsuta provides a happy and awake feeling in smaller doses, it covers a wide range of effects in higher doses, from pleasantly satisfying to deeply sedating relaxation with a dream-like character. As the ratio of alkaloid-to-plant material is somewhat lower than in its more famous sibling, you'll need more plant material to produce a comparable effect. One advantage of Kra Thum Khok is its notably long lasting effect. The slightly better taste and deviant composition of active ingredients make it an interesting alternative to Kratom. Mitragyna hirsuta, also known as Kra Thum Khok, is a tree that grows in many countries in South East Asia such as Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and even China. Mitragyna hirsuta is a close relative of the famous Mitragyna speciosa, better known as Kratom. Just like Kratom, it contains a wide variety of alkaloids, which differ substantially from those of the Kratom plant but produce a comparable effect. The most prominent among them is mitraphylline, which is mainly found within the leaf of the plant.

Dosage: 15 - 25 gram. Prepare as a tea. Combine 1 ½ cups of water with 15 - 25 to grams of Mitragyna hirsuta. Boil on low heat for 25 minutes. Add honey and milk to mask the bitter taste. An empty stomach helps to maximise the effect.

Effect: Long lasting effect. Pleasantly relaxing, yet stimulating but altogether more on the calming side.

Duration of effect: 6 - 8 hours.
