We recommend this Psilocybe Cubensis 'B+' strain for beginning magic mushroom growers because it's a very easy and early fruiter requiring no cold-shocking.
There has been much talk about the Psilocybe Cubensis "B+" strain. Rumors are still circulating of it being another species than Psilocybe Cubensis and even a domesticated Cubensis/Azurescens hybrid. Under a microscope, the 'B+' strain closely resembles Psilocybe Cubensis but it also shares some characteristics resembling a Psilocybe Azurescens. Psilocybe Cubensis "B+" shows all the classic features of Psilocybe Cubensis and can be easily grown as such. The Psilocybe Cubensis "B+" strain is still highly sought after due to the larger than average mushroom fruit sizes. The 'B+' psilocybin strain will produce massive first flushes. Later flushes produce some of the biggest magic mushrooms we've seen! Very large fruits can be expected when growing on more nutrient rich substrates such as cased grains, manure, compost and straw. Yields tend to be larger than average fruit bodies that range from moderate to potent for a Psilocybe Cubensis strain.
Recommended for beginning researchers.
