Properties
The special test construction makes testing easy and safe. Only very small samples are necessary. Test results appear quickly and clearly; just compare the colour to the chart.
Instructions
The test material (about 5 mg of pure substance or about 100 mg of finely masticated plant material) is loosely filled into the red sample cap. The filled sample cap is slightly pressed into the fastener. Be sure that the test bottle is kept horizontal, to avoid spillage of sample material. The test bottle is placed on a horizontal support and the sample cap is then pressed completely into the fastener. Than the test bottle is shaken several times during one minute and left standing on a flat support. After about 5 minutes (1 minute with pure substances) the developed colour of upper liquid layer can be read against shining daylight or a sunlit white surface.
