“The best of California and the best of Holland” A cross between two of the best-known cannabis strains, Amnesia Kush’s premium genetics cement her place in the Amnesia family. Amnesia Kush merges the taste and growth of an OG Kush with the cerebral potency and yield the Amnesia lineage is known for.
Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:
- Plants are usually taller/more robust
- Higher yield
- Higher potency than autoflowering plants
- Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants
Fragrance & Flavour
Amnesia Kush boasts a complex mix of fragrance and flavour best described as lemony earthiness. The strain smells fresh, earthy, and woody with hints of pine and citrus. The flavour carries sweet notes, undertones of pine wood along with sweet and sour lemony notes. Amnesia Kush gives off a pungent, heavy aroma as she blooms.
Effects
If you’re looking for an initial uptick of creative, cerebral energy followed by a deep physical stone, then this is the sativa dominant strain for you. You’ll feel productive and energized ready to take on any task. Time it right though, because as the effects wear on a deeply physically relaxing effect takes over putting your entire body at ease. Amnesia Kush phenotypes can vary, with some achieving THC levels of 20% or higher. Inexperienced users should take it slow, too many tokes and the energizing, long lasting cerebral high may lead to overwhelming, racy thoughts.
Growing Characteristics
Amnesia Kush is a high yielding beauty. This sativa monster grows tall and wide with lots of lateral branching, a trait she inherited from parent strain OG Kush. Amnesia Kush needs just a bit of care, and she’ll reward you with a bountiful crop of thick, dense buds. She’s a sturdy plant, and thanks to her sativa genetics ideally suitable for humid and tropical climates. Keep in mind that Amnesia Kush can easily grow to heights upwards of 3 meters when grown outdoors. A shorter vegetative state will affect her final height.
