The magical strain Blue Mistic originated from two legendary strains: Blueberry and Northern Lights. Blue Mistic is an indica dominant hybrid and a favourite of many connoisseurs. This mystical beauty yields compact blueish, nearly silver buds.
Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:
- Plants are usually taller/more robust
- Higher yield
- Higher potency than autoflowering plants
- Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants
Fragrance & Flavour
The scent of Blue Mistic has the typical blueberry vibe, fruity and fresh. Her aroma is described as pleasant but light. Rich and complex in taste, a marvellous composition of blue- and other wood berries comes to mind, with sweet citrus and pine undertones.
Effects
The effects are wonderfully mellow without inducing couch lock. Blue Mistic has a relaxing effect paired with a nice body buzzing feeling, while still being uplifting enough for you to stay moderately active. Blue Mistic offers a joyful and soothing experience.
Growing Characteristics
Blue Mistic will stay relatively small in height but makes up for in girth. Her large, compact buds tend to centralise on the main stem. Blue Mistic is an excellent choice for beginners, as she’s quite resistant to fungal diseases. Her short 8 to 9 week flowering cycle allows for a fast harvest. Royal Queen Seeds recommends drying the flowers longer than usual, as this will even refine her mystical flavour.
