Cookies Kush Feminized (Barney's Farm)

Cookies Kush, a true cannabis enthusiast will already have guessed, is a cross between Girl Scout Cookies and legendary bestseller OG Kush. The blend of genetics resulted in a forgiving, easy to grow strain with a mouthwatering minty and chocolaty flavour. Cookies Kush won 1st place overall at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2014.

Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:

1. Plants are usually taller/more robust
2. Higher yield
3. Higher potency than autoflowering plants
4. Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants

Fragrance & Flavour
Cookies Kush has a distinct smell. The strain is sweet, earthy and somewhat spicy with hints of chocolate and mint. Users describe the flavour of the fragrant bud as reminiscent of OG Kush, with notes of freshly baked Girl Scout Cookies.

Effects
Cookies Kush is simultaneously cerebral and physical. Her dominant indica component is evident in the relaxing body high, but at 30% sativa Cookies Kush also provides a jolt of energy. You’ll feel calm and relaxed but mentally uplifted enough not to doze off completely.

Growing Characteristics
Flowering for just 8 short weeks, you can expect a large yield from Cookies Kush. The strain is easy to grow, thanks to parent strain Girl Scout Cookies, producing chunky, densely packed buds. Cookies Kush does also have OG Kush in her lineage, so an experienced grower will most likely do a better job of helping this strain achieve her full potential.
