Crimea Blue Feminized (Barney's Farm)

Bred by crossing beloved fruity strain Blueberry with a landrace Crimean Hash plant, the award-winning (2007 High Times Cannabis Cup) Crimea Blue is a flavour sensation. This fast flowering indica dominant strain remains small, thickening as the frost covered buds develop. Crimea Blue is easy to grow both indoors and outdoors.

Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:

1. Plants are usually taller/more robust
2. Higher yield
3. Higher potency than autoflowering plants
4. Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants

Fragrance & Flavour
Crimea Blue is sticky and highly fragrant. The earthy, spicy and blueberry-esque aroma permeates the air. Crimea Blue has a lovely lemon peel and rosemary flavour with undertones of slightly tangy blueberries. This strain’s delicious flavour comes through most on the exhale, lingering on the tongue.

Effects
Crimea Blue tends to have an instantly uplifting and energising effect that wanes as the potent couch lock effect takes over. Crimea Blue is more suitable for later on in the day; its long-lasting effects can help ease you to sleep.

Growing Characteristics
Crimea Blue thrives under a variety of growing conditions. The feminised indica dominant strain doesn’t get very tall, she remains short and pudgy like a typical indica. Crimea Blue has a rather fast 8 week flowering cycle and despite her size produces higher than average yields of dense, massive colas.
