Barney’s Farm set out to improve Cannabis Cup winning legend NYC Diesel by crossing it with old school strain California Orange and succeeded. Their offspring Red Diesel Feminised is a top-notch strain sure to entice all diesel fans.

Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:

1. Plants are usually taller/more robust
2. Higher yield
3. Higher potency than autoflowering plants
4. Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants

Fragrance & Flavour
Fans of diesel scented strains will love the intense, dank diesel-fuel and sweet citrusy aroma that Red Diesel emits. Growing Characteristics
Red Diesel Fem is not the easiest strain to grow, but with some knowledge and care she'll produce a moderate to high yield of diesel-scented colas. The feminised hybrid takes on a reddish appearance thanks to the red pistils inherited from parent strain Cali Orange. Red Diesel’s dense, resinous buds are quite heavy, the side branches will need support in the last week of flowering.
