Tangerine Dream Feminized (Barney's Farm)

Tangerine Dream Feminised is the indica dominant offspring of three impeccable strains: G13, Afghani, and Neville’s Haze. The cup winning hybrid (2010 1st place High Times Cannabis Cup) flowers for just 65 days yielding copious amounts of chunky, tangy bud. Tangerine Dream bud oozes bag appeal. The strain is also available in an autoflowering variety.

Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:

1. Plants are usually taller/more robust
2. Higher yield
3. Higher potency than autoflowering plants
4. Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants

Tangerine Dream smells like fresh oranges, tangerines, and other citrus fruits with a bit of sweet earthiness mixed in. Tangerine Dream is one of the best tasting strains out there. Orange zest dominates the flavour profile, with undertones of sweet tropical fruits.

Effects
Tangerine Dream’s energising head rush activates all your senses as a warm and fuzzy sensation spreads through your body. In low doses, this strain’s cerebral high leaves you feeling uplifted and inspired while high doses tip the scale towards a heavy body stoned effect.

Growing Characteristics
Tangerine Dream Feminised thrives in warm and humid climates. The feminised three-way hybrid tends to focus her energy on the thick central stem, growing supporting branches to hold up the hearty, citrusy buds. The plant’s branches will need some extra support in the final week of flowering as the plant on average yields around 600 grams per square metre.
