The world's first commercially available feminised high THCV cannabis seeds, THC-Victory! Developing this unique cannabis strain took Dutch Passion several years. The trichomes contain a 1 to 1 ratio of THCV to THC. Now you get to enjoy the deeply satisfying experience of growing and toking on spicy and fresh THC-Victory Feminised. THC-Victory is a must-grow. Also available in autoflowering version!
Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:
- Plants are usually taller/more robust
- Higher yield
- Higher potency than autoflowering plants
- Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants
What is THCV?
The cannabis plant contains more than one hundred cannabinoids, among them THCV, or tetrahydrocannabivarin, which shows promise in several medical fields. Cannabis strains with higher-than-average THCV levels originally came from regions like South Africa, India, Nepal, and Pakistan. Typically, THCV acts as a counter to THC, slightly reducing its effects. In most cannabis strains like those available in coffeeshops or social clubs, THCV is present in very low amounts, often less than 0.2% or not at all. THC-Victory is the result of Dutch Passion's research efforts created by selectively breeding different Sativa-dominant genetics, leading to a strain with a much higher THCV content.
Flavour & fragrance
THC Victory is a unique strain with a unique terpene profile. Dominant terpenes terpinolene, pinene, caryophyllene and ocimene give this special cannabinoid strain its spicy and slightly floral aroma. Flavour-wise, you'll experience fresh, spicy, and piney notes; fresh and soft on the throat.
Effects of THC-Victory
6-8% THCV (tetrahydrocannabivarin) and a similar amount of THC means the high is euphoric, uplifting, focused and clear headed. The THC high compliments THCV in a very unique way. When it comes to the high, users report a clear-headed experience, a mental clarity not commonly found in other strains. THC-Victory's effects are typically described as a mix of physical relaxation with a euphoric, clear-headed feeling. The effects tend to be shorter-lasting compared to traditional high-THC strains. Interestingly, the usual THC-induced hunger cravings, or 'munchies,' seem to be absent with THC-Victory; this can vary from person to person, though. The next day, people report feeling refreshed and clear-headed. Dutch Passion THCV-rich THC-Victory is suitable for use at any time of day, whether it's a calm 'wake and bake' session or an uplifting afternoon sesh.
Potential benefits of THCV
On the uses and potential benefits of THCV there are still many unanswered questions, both medically and recreationally. So far, it appears that a high dose of THCV can produce a euphoric feeling similar to THC. Being a type 1 cannabinoid receptor antagonist, THCV is believed to slightly reduce the intensity of THC's effects. THCV is also thought to suppress appetite, influence metabolism, and potentially aid in diabetes treatment. GW Pharmaceuticals has been investigating plant-based THCV for possible use in managing type 2 diabetes. You can find more information about these studies (referred to as GWP42004) online. Growing Characteristics
THC-Victory flowers for around 11 weeks on a 12/12 light schedule. Sativa dominant characteristics means this medium-sized photoperiod grows slowly in the early stages. Don't grow her in the vegetative state for too long because she stretches in the flowering stage, showing strong branching. THC-Victory Feminised does well in soil, coco and hydro-growing mediums. Best suited for indoor growing, outdoors this strain she prefers warm climates. In the hands of an experienced hobby grower, expect yields between 350-450 g/m2. With the right climate conditions, 250-750 grams of dried bud per plant can be achieved outdoors. Grow THC-Victory organically for best results; she can be a bit fussy about nutrients. Slow-release nutrients like BioTabs are best.
