Descendant of Super Skunk and Purple Star, Frisian Dew was carefully bred and crossed over many generations in Friesland, a province of the Netherlands. Frisian Dew Feminised is a classic old-school outdoor strain brought to you by the masters at Dutch Passion.

Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:

1. Plants are usually taller/more robust
2. Higher yield
3. Higher potency than autoflowering plants
4. Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants

Flavour & fragrance
Fresh, fruity, and floral notes ranging from forest fruit and lemon to pine and lavender are present in both the flavour and fragrance. Some Frisian Dew phenotypes have more dominant earthy and herbaceous notes characteristic of her Skunk parentage.

Effect
The perfect hybrid high, great for a daytime or nighttime smoke/vape session. Small inhales create an uplifting high, and larger tokes lead to a profoundly calming couch lock. Consider harvesting Frisian Dew either earlier or later, depending on your preferred effect. A little early for an uplifting Sativa high, or wait for more amber trichomes for a strong, Indica, full-body stone.

Growing Characteristics
Dutch Passion Frisian Dew is known for her high yields. Hybrid vigour means buds are long and, at the same time, compact. This feminised outdoor strain is easy to grow and can handle almost any weather, from cold and wet to hot and dry. You'll have to tame her if you don't want her to grow into a huge bush. Frisian Dew plants that are 3.5 meters high by 3.5 meters wide are common. Dutch Passion recommends pre-growing for a minimum of 3-6 weeks. Start plants indoors on an 18/6 light schedule before moving outdoors; remember, Frisian Dew Feminised is a true, hefty outdoor strain. The ideal flowering time is around 8 weeks. In the Netherlands, you'll be harvesting between the end of September and October. Experienced hobby growers can get several kilograms of dried bud off of a single plant, newbies can get a few hundred grams per plant. Around 50% of plants will display purple hues at the end of Frisian Dew's natural life cycle. Lucky hobby growers might end up with a completely purple phenotype.
