Hollands Hope has been around since the 1980s, having more than proven herself as an outdoor powerhouse since then. Dutch Passion's old school Hollands Hope Feminised is fully adapted to the rainy, humid Dutch climate.

Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:

1. Plants are usually taller/more robust
2. Higher yield
3. Higher potency than autoflowering plants
4. Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants

Growing Characteristics

She's a relatively fast outdoor feminised variety; time the flowering phase right, and you'll be harvesting before the bad autumn weather starts. An 8 week flowering time is ideal to yield 30-50 cm long, compact buds. But a bit of bad weather won't stop this reliable, strong strain from producing potent nugs. With a very high resistance to funghi, Hollands Hope's natural traits are well suited for northern countries' moderate, rainy climates. She grows best in the open ground; if you're using pots Dutch Passion recommends at least 50L. Hollands Hope Feminised has a Christmas tree shape and reaches around 2 meters in height on average. Taller plants are possible. Provide plenty of ventilation if you plan to grow her in a greenhouse.
