Passion #1 Feminized 3 seeds (Dutch Passion)

Passion #1 is an easy to grow feminised outdoor cannabis strain. With THC levels that can reach up to 20%, Passion #1 is one of the oldest outdoor varieties in Dutch Passion's collection. Passion #1 was discovered in the 1970s in California and cultivated in the Netherlands since the 80s; you might know this strain as Amstel Gold. Passion #1 Feminised was specifically bred for speed, size, yield and potency. Truly one of the best outdoor cannabis varieties available!

Feminised Traits
Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:

2. Higher yield
3. Higher potency than autoflowering plants
4. Possibility to extend the growing stage/develop mother plants

Flavour & fragrance
Passion #1 smells fresh and tarty with hints of spices. The smell is strong but not too strong. Nosy neighbours won't smell your plants right away. The fruity blend of lemon, lime and woody herbs like rosemary and thyme should throw them off the scent of your blooming cannabis plants, at least for a little while. Flavour-wise, sour citrus notes take the foreground with spicy and earthy notes rounding off the palate. The spicy and sour notes can sometimes tickle the throat.

Effect
Passion #1's high is balanced, both physical and mental. Initially stimulating and energising, you could even say social, a second larger toke gets you pleasantly stoned. You'll experience an uplifting, high and subtle calming body effect; relaxing without feeling tired or sleepy.

Growing Characteristics
She's one of the fastest and largest outdoor varieties, with a Sativa growth pattern and the flowering time of an Indica. Passion #1 is a strain for outdoor or greenhouse cultivation; she does not do well under powerful LED lights. Thin leaves and open bud structure mean Passion #1 has a natural resistance to fungus and bud rot. The average flowering time is about 6-8 weeks, with plants reaching an average height of 2-3.5 meters outdoors in quality organic soil. Some phenotypes will flower slightly longer. Growing in pots? Dutch Passion recommends at least 50-100 L, go for very large pots. Buds can easily reach 40-50cm in length; average dry yields vary between 250-750 grams per plant. Experienced hobby growers can provide the perfect conditions, in which case plants become giants up to 4 meters with more than 1.5 kg of dry bud per plant. Passion #1 thrives in sunny climates, but rain and cold do not greatly impact vigour. The experts at Dutch Passion recommend pre-growing for 4-6 weeks indoors, but don't forget to acclimate the plants to outdoor conditions before they are permanently placed outside.
