Description
Grow your own Trichocereus pachanoi from seed! Trichocereus pachanoi commonly known as San Pedro is a ribbed, multi-branched, columnar cactus with small spines. San Pedro is one of a number of cacti containing the psychedelic alkaloid mescaline. Due to the high altitude and abundant rainfall of its natural habitat in the Andes of Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia, the cactus is capable of enduring more extreme temperatures than its counterparts. San Pedro is a fast growing cactus that in the wild can grow to heights of 7 metres. The night flowering cactus only rarely produces red fruit. Trichocereus pachanoi is a hardy species well suited for grafting with slow growing mescaline cacti like peyote. San Pedro seedlings can be eaten for an intense, visual, psychedelic trip. Grow the seedlings to about 12cm, then carefully peel off the skin and eat the seedling. Considering the intesity of the trip, not recommended for novices!
Content: 20 seeds (Non-edible)
