How do you use the Carson MicroBrite Pen Microscope?
Place the pen microscope directly on the flower, leaf, or stem. Adjust the zoom wheel for magnification, then fine-tune focus with the lower lever. The bright LED reveals details invisible to the naked eye.
What magnification strength is best for cannabis?
A range between 30x to 100x magnifying strength is recommended. The Carson Pen Microscope’s magnification range of 24x to 53x can help you get a good look at your cannabis plants. You’ll be able to see bigger trichome clusters and spot pests. However, to really catch fine details, most hobby growers prefer 60x or higher.
How can you tell if buds are ready for harvest?
Find the perfect window to harvest by zooming in on trichomes. You’ll know exactly when trichomes (resin glands) are milky or amber, and pistils are reddish-brown or orange. Your key for desired cannabinoid and terpene (fragrance & flavor) content.
