Acapulco Gold Feminized is an award-winning (2010 High Times Cannabis Cup), sativa dominant hybrid based on the old school Central American strain. The original Acapulco Gold has a reputation for being one of the most potent, top quality strains out there. Barney’s Farm Acapulco Gold Feminized does not disappoint, she’s the next step in the evolution of the legendary golden strain.

Feminized Traits

Feminised seeds are specifically bred to produce all female plants. Purchasing high-quality genetics from reputable seedbanks is highly recommended, this diminishes your chances of finding male or hermaphrodite plants among your crop. Feminised plants, contrary to autoflowers, depend on the photoperiod to flower. In the early growing stage feminised marijuana plants need 18 hours of daylight and 6 hours of darkness. The plants start the flowering period at the end of the summer (usually August) as the days become shorter and the amount of sunlight diminishes (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness). Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds have the following advantages:
